A dental hygienist is a professional oral health specialist who works either alongside a dentist, independently in a private practice or as part of a healthcare team. Our dental hygienists' in our office are truly the best! Equipped with over 42 years of combined experience each brings their own approach to dentistry. Compassionate and caring, we deal carefully with the fearful patient. We are lucky to have Suzanne, Audrey, Cat and Sarah.

As Dental Hygienists we have specific procedures they we do here in the office. We are BIG into education and we feel the more you know, the more you are equipped to make the right decision. We all love what we do and it shows! Our dental hygienists' take thorough assessments and follow regulations guided by the American Dental Association, American Dental Hygiene Association and American Association of Periodontology to name a few. Assessments include x-rays, oral cancer screenings, thorough periodontal charting to assess for periodontal disease, and looking at the person as a whole. We assess medications and the affects on the mouth and we look at overall health. Diabetes, thyroid, autoimmune diseases and cancer are looked at and are monitored closely as we strongly believe in the mouth/body connection.
